The doors of the sanctum are opened by 4.30 A.M. at Dwaraphita and the day ends with Khataseja Lagi and Pahuda at 11.30 in the night. Darshan happens between the rituals, and the administration publishes when it does not: for roughly an hour and a quarter in the morning it is unavailable.

The administration publishes darshan from 05:30 onwards, after Mangala Alati, and states that darshan is unavailable for about an hour and a quarter in the morning, roughly 08:00 to 09:15. Further windows run from 14:00 to 17:30 and from 20:00 to 21:00. The early morning after Mangala Alati, before the morning gap, and the long afternoon window are the most practical times to aim for. Avoid the fortnight of Anasara after Snana Yatra, when darshan is not possible at all.

The deities are bathed with 108 pitchers of water, then stay in the anasara, where nobody but the Daitas and Patis may go, until the new moon of Ashadha.

This is a ritual schedule, not an opening timetable. Reading it as opening hours is the mistake that puts people in a queue during a block when nothing is available.
