This site has no accounts, no logins and nothing for sale, so there is very little to collect and very little to explain. What follows is the whole of it: what arrives when you read a page, what happens to a message or a newsletter signup, and how to have any of it removed.

Reading this site requires nothing from you. The only personal information here is what you choose to type into a form.
Information you give us
The contact and question forms ask for your name, your email address and your message, and the newsletter asks only for an email address. Those fields are used to answer you or to send the newsletter you asked for. Nothing else on the site asks you for anything.
You are never required to give a real name to read anything, and nothing on the site is gated behind a form.
Information collected automatically
Like any web server, ours records the technical details of a request: an IP address, the page asked for, the time, and the browser string your device sends. This is what makes it possible to serve pages, spot abuse and diagnose faults.
These records are not linked to a person, not sold, and not used to build any profile of you.
Cookies
One cookie exists on this site: a session cookie set on pages that carry a form, holding the token that stops the form being submitted from somewhere else. It contains no personal data and disappears when you close the browser.
There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts following you between pages.
Analytics
Analytics may be used to count how many people read which pages, so the work goes where it is useful. Where it runs, it is loaded only after you interact with the page, so it never delays the content, and it is configured for aggregate counts rather than individual tracking.
If you block analytics, every page works exactly the same. Nothing on the site depends on it.
Advertising
There is none. No banner, no sponsored placement, no affiliate link and no advertising network embedded anywhere. Nothing on this site is influenced by a payment from anyone, because nobody pays for anything on it.
Data we never collect
No payment details, because nothing is sold. No religious affiliation, because nobody is asked. No precise location, no contacts, no device photographs, no biometric data and nothing else a reference page has no use for.
Where a page mentions a temple's entry restrictions, that is information about the temple. It is never a question put to you.
How long we keep things
Contact messages last as long as they are useful for replying and for acting on what they reported, then they are deleted. Newsletter addresses last until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept briefly for operational reasons and then rotated out.
Your rights and how to use them
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and none of those requests needs a reason. Email info@templetimings.org and it is dealt with directly.
For the newsletter, the unsubscribe link in any message removes your address immediately without needing to write to anyone.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Nothing here will ever be quietly widened to collect more than it says, and no change will apply retroactively to information you have already sent.

Do I need an account to use this site?
No, and there is no way to create one. Every page is readable without signing in, and nothing on the site remembers who you are between visits. There is no login, no profile and no saved history.
What do you collect when I just read a page?
Your browser sends the usual technical information any web server receives: an IP address, the page requested, a timestamp and a browser string. That is used to serve the page and to keep the site running. It is not linked to you, not sold and not used to build a profile.
Do you use cookies?
The site sets one cookie, and only on the pages with a form. It is a session cookie that carries the token protecting the form from being submitted by another site. It holds no personal data, expires when you close the browser, and is not used for tracking.
What happens to what I type into the contact form?

Your email address is stored for the purpose of sending that newsletter and nothing else. It is not sold, not shared and not used to contact you about anything you did not ask for. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes the address.
Do you sell or share anything with advertisers?
No. There is no advertising on this site, no advertising network embedded in it, and no data of any kind sold or passed to a third party for marketing.

How do I get my data removed?
Email us and ask. If you subscribed to the newsletter, the unsubscribe link in any message does it immediately. If you sent a message and want it deleted, say so and it will be, and no reason is required.
Do children use this site?
It is a reference site with no content aimed at children and nothing that asks for personal information beyond a message and an email address. Nothing is knowingly collected from anyone under 13, and if something is sent by mistake, tell us and it is deleted.
Who do I contact about privacy?
Write to info@templetimings.org and put privacy in the subject. Requests about your own data are answered directly and without conditions.
