Sri Mariamman Temple opening hours
The temple's home page gives its operating hours as 6:00am to 12:00pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm, closing at 9.15pm on Fridays. A separate daily pooja schedule on the same site lists earlier opening times, 5.30am in the morning and 4.00pm in the evening, and the two have not been reconciled. Best time for darshan. The surest times for darshan are 6:00am to 12:00pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm, when both schedules on the temple's site agree it is open. Morning Temple Poojai at 7.00am, or 6.30am on Fridays, falls well inside the morning window and is the time to see the temple at worship early in the day; in the evening, Evening Temple Poojai at 6.00pm coincides with the reopening time on the home page.

Friday evenings run to 9.15pm on the home page. The pooja page lists Artha Jama Poojai at 9.30pm on Fridays, after that.

The home page gives no hours between 12:00 and 18:00. Arriving mid-afternoon is the likeliest way to find the gates shut.
